Tutu for you
My creative juices are starving without my sewing machine. I can't wait to get it outta storage! I am counting down the months and we have at least three left.
In the mean time I have found some fun craft non sewing required projects, like tutus! So cute and I wanted to do something for my nieces for Valentines day.
Easy to make! I used three colors and 6 yards of tulle. in hind sight i would have used more tulle and made the tutu shorter. You cut the tulle in 1-3 in pieces. then fold and loop them over the elastic band.

Ohio Trip
Here are some few random pictures from our trip to Ohio.
Grandpa and Wyatt doing what boys do best. Sleeping infront of the TV
Mom and Luke at the Cheesecake factory! Yummy!
We were able to see Jess and Maddi for brunch one morning. This pictures was taken at Panera Bread shortly before Maddi and Beth started doing my nike workout.
We tried to get a couple good shots of Luke and Wyatt. It sure was hard, but I am happy with what we came up with.
Happy Birthday Grandma Etta
SURPRISE...I think she knew something was up
My sweet cousin Lindsey planned a surprise 75th birthday party for my Grandma Etta. Unfortunately, God also planned a blizzard for the same night! We were under a level two snow emergency when I pulled into Grandma's driveway. We convinced her it "wasn't that bad" and she agreed to go to dinner with Me and Wyatt ;-) She tried to get out of it, saying things like. We could just stay home. I'd be OK with going to get pizza and so on. Lindsey and I kept pushing on. "No, Grandma there is this really good restaurant in Springfield. Everyone says its really good. Plus, it's not that bad out."

Happy Birthday GranT
We made a quick trip to Ohio in between blizzards this past week. We were able to celebrate GranT's and Grandma Etta's birthdays. We also were able to see the Edwards and Yates family too. It was a busy week filled with love, laughter, celebrations and snow! We went to GranT church on Sunday and then stayed afterwards for a benefit lunch. It was hosted by the youth groups to raise money for the Haiti relief.
Then that evening, a dear friend Ruth, hosted a lovely birthday party for GranT. It was so nice to see several of GranTs friends and enjoy all the homemade goodies by Ruth. Here's a tidbit from Ruth. Place simple syrup on the table for guest to use as sweetener for their ice tea! I never had thought of that. It just looked so pretty sitting on the table in its own little pitcher. Mr. Bill and Wyatt got to relax for a little while. Wyatt was getting so cozy in Mr. Bills arms.

Friday Finds
I had been wanting to find a rocking chair. I missed being able to rock Wyatt and cuddle with him. Granted, most of the time he is too busy to be held. I started the hunt for a rocking chair. I've priced rockers at:
Babies R Us 300-200 dollars
Wal-Mart 150 dollars
GoodWill 30 dollars
Local Dumpter FREE
Yes, Ladies I found this rocking chair at the dump! haha I think sometimes God just lets you find something you want. It is in great shape and works fine.
