Lookin good

This was pretty funny to an almost two year old. W would put his sunglasses on his knee then say, "Lookin good Lookin good". As if his knee was a face. :) Clever and funny.

Well new for us. Yes, I did find this at the dump! It's almost embarrassing! W loves it! I haven't gotten it to work yet..maybe why it was at the dump. But, I think there is hope. I charged the battery for 14 plus hours and the Hummer moved about four inches with good force before dying. It acted like it had no connection what so ever afterwards. So, I think there is a loose wire or short. I need to double check and make sure it's not a battery problem. For now, W is so happy to clean and just sit in his Hummer. I figure if all else fails and it never works it was still free :)

In other events today, we went to a pool party! Lacy set up their kiddie pool in the front yard and invited us over. In all there were seven momma and ten kids around this little pool. I'm sure we looked funny but we had a great time visiting while it lasted. Which for us unfortunately wasn't long because Wyatt decided he wanted his paci and to go home. I told him No Paci while we were playing with our friends. The next thing I know, W is half way down the sidewalk, waving and saying "bye bye Mommy, I going home". I figured if he'd rather go home that's what we'd do. So, we ended up playing in our backyard with his Hummer and the cube while all the other neighbors and kids played together at the pool!! Funny kid.

At bedtime W was very concerned where his new buddy Hunter had gone. I told him again, "Hunter had to go bye bye with his Mommy and Daddy". Wyatt looked up at me and said, "Bye bye Hunters Daddy Matt". Hunter and Wyatt had a great time together. So thankful for amazing friends. Hope it's not two years before we meet up again!!

Silliness

W and H played outside yesterday in the pool. They had a great time laughing at each other. One game especially fun was for W to fill the little red bucket with water then throw the water into the air or at Hunter. They would both loose it laughing at being splashed by water. The little red bucket also doubled as a camera and they took pictures of each other and the Mommy's.

Today we made a trip to Ikea! It was a success like always! I got the wooden train tracks for W to see if they really would fit with his growing Thomas the Train collection. Sure enough they fit perfectly!

Although, the boys had a great time together W was very disappointed that we did not go to Cookie Monsters house! He asked almost the whole way to Ikea if we could go to Cookie Monsters House. It is so sad to have to tell the almost two year old we can't go to Cookie Monsters house. I am sure I repeated that phase nearly twenty times. By the way, if anyone finds out where Cookie Monster lives please let me know. Thank you!

PTM

Let the races begin!!! We took the boys to the Please Touch Museum today. We met our friend Rebecca there and her two girls. We literally, raced through the museum chancing toddlers for two hours! It was marvelous. They had so much fun together. After the PTM Laura and I took the boys to the Pop Shoppe in Collingswood. We figured the boys would fall asleep on the way home. We were half right, Hunter fell asleep. W did not! He is not a fan of naps lately. As I am typing now he is in his crib, obviously tired but singing. I heard him earlier "popping" his book. I think he was hitting the rabbit in the book. As I went in to check on him he asked for a new diaper. I changed him and laid him back down. I have no idea what he's up to now except I hear his sweet voice talking away and singing little songs. Goodness, he sure is silly and sleepy but determine to not take a nap. I'll give him a few more minutes, and if he is still awake I'll have to figure out plan B. :) Plan A was for Mommy to nap too.

L and I met up with a sweet friend we knew way back in Del Rio. We also, met her newest daughter Ava! What a darling little girl!!

No naps

No nap for this little boy today. But, he did learn how to buckle and unbuckle the seat belt and open the glove compartment. :)

Ice cream

We took the boys to get a special treat! We told them we'd get ice cream and they didn't forget! Hunter woke up from his nap and first thing he said, "ice cream". Wyatt also asked for ice cream every five minutes till we finally found a McDonalds. Look how happy W is about getting ice cream!! So silly!

Addiction

I'm going to be featured on TLCs Hoarders!! Here the newest addition to the McHouse. A Pottery Barn craft table!!! I mean if you were to find this what would you have done???
