Memorial Day
Wyatt is playing in the "worm" sprinkler with Beth and Luke. He loved it! He laughed, clapped his hands and screamed with delight!

Reunion
On our way to the Yates family reunion in Manchester, Ohio. W first time attending. It's been almost ten years since I was able to attend. Mom and I drove down while Jim stayed and work in the fields. We were able to visit with family and Wyatt played all day with his cousins. On our way down I took this picture of W being comfy and telling me about his shoes. "daddies shoes" he calls this pair because Daddy has a pair just like them. Notice they don't really match his outfit. Oh well, some battles aren't worth fighting. :)
Reunion
It is tradition to go to the park while at the reunion. The park is just a block away from the hall were we've had the Yates reunion for years. So, after lunch I took W, Bekah, Chole, Silas, Sophia and Danny to the park. They all played well together. I was delighted that we had no concussions or broken bones. :) W does everything the big kids do and here he was determined to go down the slide. He had a slight problem. Here he is telling me "hot". He was right the slide was hot. Eventually, he figured out how to not let his legs touch the slide and braved the downward slope like a brave boy.
Reunion
W brought toys to share and the favorite among all the kids were these masks. W was mid yawn when I snapped this picture. The other three animals didn't stand still long enough to get a good picture.
Reunion
W has turned into the best hugger ever. This is only due to the hours and practice he and Daddy have put into bear hugs. W went around and gave everyone hugs. Then, decided to tackle Silas was much more fun. Silas did not really know what to do with a pint size monkey attacking him and pounding on his chest. But, we all laughed and Tina explained to Silas that W was trying to wrestle with him.
Reunion
W didn't last but 15 minutes before falling asleep on the drive home. We left at eight despite the fact that the sun is still so bright it looks like mid afternoon. He had much fun!

Cousin z
W was so loud and crazy at dinner that Zain just stared at him. Most of the time with a furrowed brow. W was really happy to have all his family together and would shout each persons name is a deep voice. Then crack up at him self. I'll admit, it's hard not to laugh when it sounds like a grown man with a very deep voice is yelling your name!

USAF museum
W told me that the railings were tunnels. He and Luke had a hard time not being tempted to crawl underneath to get a closer look at the planes. At one point Luke started to crawl under and Erin told him "No". Which then W took it upon himself to "whip" Lukes butt and say, "pop!"
He also wanted to wear his "howdy shoes". About half way through the day and after kicking off the boots had become a game we switched to sandals.
Rides
W made every ride make a noise. You can see his lips making the Brrr brrrrm noise here. He was so busy making every ride have an engine that I could hardly get him to stop and look at me.

Charlie feeling better
Round two with Valley Fever! Since his diagnoses about week ago, we have started Charlie on anti-fungals and pain medication. He is not 100% better, but he is happy and in less pain. His appetite is increasing and he is enjoying play time at the farm. I tried to get a shot while we walked this morning. You can't really tell but he was joyfully running about and attempting to sneak off at the scent of any forest critter.
